THE PRESIDENT'S

MESSAGE

When I ﬁrst started working in Hassi Messaoud as a young petrochemical engineer in the early sixties, the town was still in the making. There was a crucial need for energy professionals and trained engineers in particular. That was my calling. I have endeavored ever since to train and educate generations of petrochemical engineers to serve Algeria's energy sector. Whether through the founding of the Algerian Petroleum Institute (IAP) which to this day produces Algeria's elite in the ﬁeld of petrochemicals or through on-site training (in Hassi Messaoud), I have strived to instill a spirit of excellence in our business. This spirit was handed over to my family and I am proud to say that the RedMed Group now embodies the true spirit of dedication, hard work and professionalism.
